Born in Moscow, Russia, Julia Bantner has most recently appeared on Super Stars of Dance, three national TV commercials, a new music video for Britney Spears, The Academy Awards and is currently working as an assistant choreographer for So You Think You Can Dance. 
 
She has studied at the Academy of Bolshoi Theater, The Perm Ballet Academy, and at The National Ballet School of Iceland. At the age of 18, Julia was invited to join The National Ballet Company of Iceland and two years later found herself at The Icelandic Dance Theater, where she worked with world renowned choreographers such as Jiří Kylián, Ed Wobbe, Richard Werlock and Rui Horta among many others.
 
Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, Julia auditioned for Celine Dion’s “A New Day…” and was quickly whisked off to Belgium for a six month creation period and five year run in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace.
 
Julia currently teaches private and semi-private ballet and contemporary sessions at Boxers & Ballerinas and is a co-developer of “Think & Dance like a Star.”
