Mexican born Yesenia Serratos is trained in Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary dance. Fueled by a passion for dance, Yesenia was drawn to the United States where she performed in Chicago with Joel Hall Dancers and Luna Negra Dance Theater. She continued her dance career in Los Angeles as an instructor and performer for companies such as LA Choreographers & Dancers and Media City Ballet.  
 
Yesenia has trained in many other styles of dance including Salsa, Cha Cha, Ballroom and Hustle. She has performed throughout LA in various venues including the Kodak Theater, Greek Theater, Nokia Theater and the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City. 
 
Yesenia is a member of Boogie Box (BBX) certified instructors and currently teaches Boogie Box at Boxers & Ballerinas—a workout that combines martial arts, kick boxing and hip hop choreography.
